Mark is a marketing analyst, brand strategy consultant, and financial services industry expert. He advises clients on strategic brand and growth initiatives. He is a national speaker and author, and blogs on branding, branch prototyping, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior trends.

 Mark was the VP of Marketing for one of the 10 largest savings banks in the US and head of marketing for a Seattle-based credit union. He has over 30 years of strategic marketing and brand consulting experience in high-tech and financial services. He advises some of the largest credit unions and community banks in the US and Canada.

In addition to his work in the financial services industry, Mark is on the board of Agros International, a non-profit organization building sustainable farming villages, and providing micro-financing and land loans to the rural poor in Latin America. He is also a board member of Vu1 Corporation, a publicly traded clean tech company.

Mark started Weber Marketing Group in 1988 after a ten-year senior level career in bank, credit union and clean technology marketing. He helped raise funding and launch two de novo niche business banks, serving on the board of Pacifica Bank for six years. He has advised, branded and marketed many startup technology companies. With a passion for tackling the hardest marketing challenges, Mark began his marketing agency with a goal of helping his clients transform their culture, brand image, facilities, technologies and market position to accelerate profitable growth.

Today, with a LEED Gold headquarters in Seattle, WA, and offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Atlanta, GA, Weber Marketing Group is an award-winning provider of brand strategies, branded environments, and interactive marketing to financial institutions and emerging growth companies across North America. In his spare time, you’ll find him watching his kids play soccer or hiding out in his man-cave playing acoustic guitar. He travels regularly to Latin America and Africa working with NGO’s in advancing new cooperative and sustainable models to end generational poverty.
